Lovie have been producing and delivering ready-mix concrete for over five decades. During this time an enviable reputation for quality and customer service has been established, maintained and constantly improved.
Our production units at Memsie Quarry near Fraserburgh and Methlick Quarry near Ellon operate under a quality system assessed to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and use state of the art control systems to produce consistent concrete to the most exacting standards. Our operations are supported by an in house, well equipped laboratory which ensures that our own supplied raw materials and end product are tested for compliance with all current British and European standards and further to this, third party quality assurance is provided through the kitemark for ready-mix concrete, awarded by the British Standards Institute.
Lovie have an excellent and loyal customer base ranging from private individuals to major civil engineering contractors, who all enjoy the same superb level of customer service. Highly competent staff are available to answer queries and advise on particular materials and design specific concrete mixes, utilising their up-to-date knowledge of concrete technology. Orders are dealt with expeditiously by a large, modern fleet of company owned truck mixers, ensuring customers get delivery when they want it. Delivery and placement are further enhanced by a 7m3 capacity truck fitted with a 11 metre long belt conveyor.
Lovie are also authorised suppliers of Cemfloor liquid screed.
